After David Forker retired in 1999, David found his passion, Search and Rescue. He loved helping families find closure with his Airedale Search Dogs'

Although fiercely independent, he loved to help others with his generous spirit. He would drop everything to help someone.

He loved being in the mountains with his dogs. He loved going to Canada with Carol, kayaking amongst the Orcas, and eating bangers and mushy peas. He was a proud Horse Show Dad, with the patience of a saint. He loved canoeing and catching turtles with his daughter and her best friend. He made the best breakfasts and had the most evil laugh, to go with his wicked sense of humor.
